FREE Winter CERT Class!
The Glendale Fire Department would like to invite Glendale residents, employees or organizations to sign-up for a FREE CERT class. This hybrid class is a combination of on-line self-study and hands-on training. Volunteers learn simple first-aid, light search and rescue, home utilities shut-off, how to use a fire extinguisher and much more. Now more than ever the recent fires have highlighted the need for emergency preparedness. We look forward to you joining our team!
Who: Glendale residents, city employees and organizations
What: CERT Hybrid on-line and in-person training sessions
When: Stay Tuned: a weekday night and two Saturday sessions
Where: Night 1 @ Fire Station 21 421 Oak St. across from the Galleria parking structure.
Saturdays TBD @ Glendale Fire Dept. Training Center 541 W. Chevy Chase Dr.
How: Sign-up online and create an account with a usable email and phone number to receive texts and updates.
